Data Manager
My name is Heather Kruszewski, and I am the Data Manager for Coal City Schools. Although I only started with the district in April 2022, I have been involved with Coal City Schools for over 12 years. Both of my children grew up in the district and have now both graduated from Coal City schools. I had been an active member of the Coal City Music Boosters for a little over 9 years, 5 of which I served as secretary.
I have over 24 years of experience in the Information Technology field. Prior to starting with the school district, I worked at a corporate office primarily focused in BI (business intelligence) design and development, as well as ERP (enterprise resource planning) system administration. I am looking forward to using my skill sets within the school district environment, and I'm extremely excited to be working so close to home with a fantastic group of people!!
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- PowerSchool data and access management
- New Student Registrations
- Entering and Exiting student enrollments
- ISBE (SIS) data uploads
- Roster Uploads for Learning Platforms (i.e. IXL, HMH, Amplify, ect..)
- Google email account creation for students and staff
- Staff Wifi Access account creation
