Miss Minnick and her fourth and fifth grade English/language arts students hosted a Snowman Party, a celebration of the students who wrote, edited and published their own writing, as well as created their own illustrations. The students presented their original snowman stories to a room filled with friends and family on Thursday, Dec. 19.
Sharing their stories and illustrations were Zavien, Amelia, Novah, Jack, Eli, Beau, McKenna, and Zeke.

“Weeee” said Goofy Stars the Snowman. Goofy goes down the tallest waterslide ever. He is happy. Goofy sees the rainbow waterslide and thinks I want to ride that. He goes down the slide and has fun! He gets out of the water and eats chicken nuggets. Oh no! He forgot ketchup! Goofy drives home to get his ketchup, Yay! He got the ketchup and can eat his nuggets with ketchup and Goofy goes back to the waterpark and has the best day ever!

Honk! Honk! I’m on my way to the best store ever! I am going to Walmart. I want to buy a Barbie dream house. When I get home, I will ride my bike. I see my snowman. Her name is Miss Minnick! I go and open presents with my snowman. We play with my new Barbie. It was a Christmas Barbie! Everyone was happy!

Wee! I’m having so much fun! I’m flying down the slide at the playground. Oh! Look over there, a basketball court. I’m going to shoot some hoops. Now. I’m going to a waterpark. I love playing in the wavepool. Finally, I need to go to school. It is fun learning math. The bell rang and it’s time to go home. Wow. what a day I have had! I had so much fun today!

I look out my window to see my snowman saying “Happy Halloween!” My snowman go through the trees. My snowman was funning about. My snowman throws snowballs while I was asleep. My snowman and his friends throw snowballs at each other while I was asleep. My snowman stays up all night and listens to “Thunder” by Imagine Dragons. When I wake up my snowman has melted, “nooo!”

Beep beep! Cart the snowman was waiting in the car for me! It was a long drive to the zoo. There was traffic. Mmm I am going to see the sea animals. He saw a shark. Then he saw a whale. Next he went to the jungle. He saw a tiger and frogs. Then he went to the desert. Next he saw a lion. Then he saw a big elephant. It was a fun day. We went home and played outside.

Do you like frogs? Asked Snow the Snowman. I do like frogs. We went to the zoo. I see some frogs and fish. The snowman asked the frog if they wanted to play in the snow. The snowman and the frogs had a snowball fight. The snowman won. Finally, snowman and frogs went sledding on the hills. They raced down the hills really fast and fell off their sleds. The sun came up and the snowman started to melt. He said goodbye to the frogs.

“OMG! I need to get ready for this party,” said the snowman. I need to go to Sephora. I have to get RareBeauty blush and Sol de Janeiro perfume. Ok, now I need to get a snack! Oh, I can go to Chick-fil-a! Ok, 30 minutes until the party. Lets party! He had a dance party and had so much fun. Hi said another snowman, Hi, he said. Do you want to be friends? Now, the party is over and my friends and my friends and I went to go back to my snow home. I had so much fun.

Ding! Ding! Ding! School starts right now. Bentley is worried. Bentley is going to be late to class. He is worried. Bentley will go to the zoo but first he will get on the bus. He is very excited. On the bus Bentley will play Roblox. He will watch videos. He is calm. Bentley finally got to the zoo. He got to see his favorite animals. He was happy. On his way home from the zoo, Bentley thought about his next visit to see all of the animals again.
