The Coal City Community Unit School District 1 would like to clarify the December 4 Truth in Taxation Hearing on the proposed property tax levy and the December meeting of the Coal CIty Community Unit School District 1 Board of Education will take place in the Coal City High School Learning Resource Center [LRC], 655 W. Division Street. The location of the Truth in Taxation Hearing was included in the public notice that appeared in the Nov. 20 edition of The Coal City Courant. Individuals attending the hearing and meeting of the Board of Education can park in the north parking lot and enter the school through Door 1 or Door 27 located on the north side of the school building. Individuals will be available to direct guests to the LRC. The Truth in Taxation Hearing will begin at 6 p.m. and the Board meeting will immediately follow.
The School District apologizes for any confusion with the location of the hearing and December meeting.
Again, the Truth in Taxation Hearing and December meeting of the Board of Education will begin at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 4 in the Coal City High School LRC.
