Homework help

Coal City High School offers Before and After School Assistance Programs  that provide academic support to students with homework, studying or makeup tests.

The Before School Assistance Program [BSAP] is offered every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in Room 510 from 7a.m. until the start of the school day at 8:20 a.m. Students interested in the After School Assistance Program [ASAP} can stop by the Learning Resource Center [LRC] afterschool on Tuesday, Wednesday and/or Thursday—except for early dismissal days— for assistance until 4:30 p.m.

BSAP and ASAP are open to any student who wants to work on assignments or receive assistance as teachers are available to help. The programs also offer a place for quiet individual study and space for group project work.

Students do not need to register to take part in the programs, they can show up on any day the program is offered.

The BSAP and ASAP coordinators are high school teachers Jeremy Unger and Sarah Cyrkiel.
